The customer service on this carport/tent is OUTSTANDING. They have replaced bungees for me several times at no cost. I purchased this as a temporary place to park my car. It works well. I do have it secured to a fence on one side and secured to the side of my house on the other side, as well as staked into the ground. It also sits under a very large tree so it is protected on several sides. Winds WILL rip the bungee balls, and I imagine if this was not attached to two different structures the wind could definitely destroy it.Update: After 8 months of owning this I would say I recommend it but here are limits:1. It's inexpensive for what it is, covers my car and protects it form the elements.2. REPEAT AFTER ME: It needs to be secured to a structure otherwise the wind and snow will destroy it. Don't like physics too bad. This tent is sturdy but if it's free standing it will get ravaged by the wind.3. You will be replacing the bungees after a period of time. Where I live it is very windy, and harsh snowy winters. If it's not secured to a structure it will be destroyed but expect to replace the bungees.Overall it's good, but you have to realize it has limits. Securing it to the just the ground and it being free standing for a long periods of time could be destroyed by the wind.
