Used this on a Black Kia and the color was spot on. Thin coats are key and letting everything dry is important. The "solvent" has a blue tint to it in both the paint and the clear that really shows on black paint.I ended up thinning the paint and using it in a cordless airbrush. Superior results to trying to make a smooth layer. I also just skipped using the clear. For a deep scratch, my steps were fill scratch, primer, wetsand, airbrush with ipa thinned paint, mask, spray can clearcoat, wetland, compound, polish.I bought the titanium silver metallic paint for my 2013 kia optima and the color is fairly close. The thing with metallic paint is that it's very difficult to match as the color and shine changes depending on the angle. The paint comes fairly close but you want to go in thin layers and build it to match. However my problem with this paint is that it doesn't seem very durable. I touched up my car and gave it 14-15 hours to dry and gave an hour with a clear coat. When I tried to polish the area to finish it, it removed the paint that I touched up and it removed it like it was nothing. I touched it up again so we'll see if it'll stick after a full 24 hours but I've never had this happen with the paint in those touch up pens so I think the quality of the paint itself is poor or the primer in it is not as good.I am still working on the scratches. I got the economy/essentials and it doesn't have primer or the towel that (both are mentioned in the instructions). The scratches are pretty superficial so I went ahead but it would have been nice the description was a little more clear (ie, you will need primer if....)I touched up my car as per instructions and let it dry but when I tried to polish the area it removed the paint. If I don't polish the area then you will see touched up spot.It was an exact color match. It was easy to use. It came with everything needed. The only way it would be easier is if they did it for youI should have avoided this when I realized that the paint is water based instead of solvent based. Previously, I had used duplicolor all in one scratch fix and it was much easier to work with. Also, the clearcoat included with this kit does not seem to dry hard. It remains somewhat resin-like and turns white again when exposed to water for a long period of time. I don't have confidence that it will last.2 stars because the primer seems fine and the small applicator brushes are good.I thought first that the titanium silver didn't match but you have to wait and redo it a few times.Pretty good. Color is not perfect.Followed all the instructions, obtained a very good coverage, but could not obtain any gloss whatsoever.Fast delivery. Read the online instructions. Very detailed. Easy to apply the paint. Excellent results. Quality product.See headline
