The colors are not as vibrant as the photo implies. I can accept that because I determined the game was from September 23, 1990. However, there is a line down the right side of the image where the printer didn't print or smudged. The overall image is a bit blurry but again, it's a print of a nearly 30 year old photo. It kind of makes it neater like something you would see on the wall in a Wrigleyville bar.The way I dated the photo - In center it says that Joe Girardi is at bat. Girardi had 2 stints with the Cubs. There are two divisions for the standing flags above the scoreboard. So it's before the 3 division realignment which makes it Girardi's first stint with the Cubs. Finally what nailed it home for me - Over the right field stands across the street there is a sign that a fan is using to updates fans on the Bears score. It says Bears 16 Minn 16. The Bears beat the Vikings 19-16 on Sept. 23 1990. The only game in the late 80s/early 90s that was ever 16-16 at any time. The Cubs played the Mets that day at home. So clearly this is the correct day. It's early in the game. So that is Dwight Gooden pitching, Greg Maddox on deck, Joe Girardi batting.
