This backpack and lunchbox combo has held up beautifully the first month of school! It still looks brand new and has stood up to my 8yo. Things we love: padded areas for a laptop and a tablet, storage galore to hold all the things, the cute galaxy print in girly colors, the long strap on the roomy lunchbox, and my favorite - the straps above the side pockets to secure a tall water bottle! We purchased a rolling backpack from Pottery Barn last year that was a disappointment in quality and durability; the fabric around the handle area unraveled within the first month and the telescoping handle quit working mid-year. So far so good with this one… If you are considering this backpack and lunchbox combo, just buy it!My daughter is very rough on backpacks but I can hardly even tell it's been used it is holding up so well. I don't think I'll need to buy her one next year. I'm sure I will though since it seems to be a yearly tradition. Her backpack was extremely heavy with all her books. This rolling backpack is a great size with alot of compartments and our daughter takes a home lunch so the lunch bag was great to have.
