I feel qualified to give this 5 stars because it is a replacement for the exact same pump that ran flawlessly for over 12 years. It just works, day in day out. I was able to switch out the old one and put in the new one in about 15 minutes. So this will be the second one I have owned and we'll see how it goes.The pump failed after one month. This is the third pump like this and the first to fail so quickly. The company says they will replace it but yet to see that happen, will see.Leader is a good quality name in pond pumps.Seems to last for about 2 or 3 years, just long enough to get past the warrany.Don't buy from this vendor.
