This is my first merino wool sleep sack. I've used the fleece ones (with full sleeves) in the past but always felt like my child was getting too warm. I got this one for a 2 month old and have not been disappointed. I wish it would dry quicker after washing but overall, this has been a great product.Pros:- warm for baby: I've used a onesie or a footed sleeper, depending on how cold the night will be but each time, my baby has remained comfortable and warm without being hot. also, the Merino Kids website has a temperature chart which give you an idea of when the sleep sack is most helpful.- easy to get on and off, even while baby is sleeping. The zipper is very smooth and the buttons on the shoulder snap quietly and easily and are very sturdy. Once you undo the shoulder and side buttons and zipper, it opens almost completely flat.- the cut-out for the seat belt buckle is a dream come true. I have to drop off older children in the morning and its the easiest thing to pick up my baby, plop him in the carseat, and zoom off. Also, because its not bulky, I don't worry about the car seat straps being too loose in the event of an accident.- color is vibrant.Cons:- The time to dry the sack after washing it.- The price-- its steep but at the same time, I use it every night. The best sac ever.!!! My 2 kids slept in it and now I’m buying it for all the new moms in my family. They all agree baby’s are sleeping through the night. It may feel to big for new born but it didn’t bother me. My Dougther slept in it from day 1 ( 1 week with the light for jaundice in it)I sleep on wool mattress padding so I know the property of wool. This has been a great sleep sack. We got it for my son when he was a few months old and he is almost 2 (so we are ordering the next size up.) It is well designed to snap into a "smaller" size for young babies and grows with them. My son is in the 90th percentile of height and is just maxing out the size now.We live in San Francisco, so while it is not freezing at night it's rarely hot. We have also used this in Tahoe in the winter. In all cases, it keeps our son warm at night but not too hot.We use this year round and wash it frequently. It has held up beautifully - it still looks new and will work for another generation of babies in the family. While it's more expensive than some other options, for the quality and durability I think it's an excellent value. I highly recommend this one!The wool is soft and thick and I think keeps baby warm at njght. I love that she will fit it for 2 years! My baby is 3 months, so obviously she does not fill the sleep sac. The extra material at the bottom is a little awkward to maneuver, especially when putting her into her bassinet. It always gets caught on the side when I'm lowering her in. Also there is a flap in the lower half of the sac, in the front and back, I believe for the car seat seat belt to go through. This is just weird, and seems like it would not keep the sac quite as warm as it could.I was looking for a replacement of my baby sleep bag (wanted something warm), but not to hot for summer time, and I found this.My baby was getting too long for the sleep sacks he has, and was really really hotWhat caught my atention was the price!I thought, "What a lunatic would spend that much money on a baby's sleep sack?!", anyway... got curious, and I just had to read the description and the reviews to find out who, in fact, would buy such a thing.Well, after reading the reviews, and doing some research online... was not totaly convinced, It took a 10 days of my baby not sleeping well, getting up all sweaty, or too cold.. to finaly convince me that I would be someone crazy enough to try this thing. And I did.Well, I am SO GLAD I did.My baby stays warm instead of getting sweaty or cold. So, he sleeps LONGER!!! and better!YES, it's pricey, but believe me TOTALLY worth it.I got the 2-4 year old ( I have a year old but I saw a review that said get the big one and it was a very good advice!)My 2 year old little girl has slept in a Merino Kids sleeping bag since about 4 months and it has been wonderful. Merino wool is a natural conductor of temperature so your little one will stay cool in the warmer months and warm in the cooler ones. The sleeping bag comes with a guide as to what pajamas should be worn with the bag depending on the temperature (ie short sleeves, long sleeves, pants, no pants etc) so that your child always has the most comfortable night's sleep. The wool is super soft and not at all scratchy and care is as easy as washing on a warm cycle and tumble drying. My daughter wants to drag her sleeping bag around the house with her and loves to snuggle up with it even when she's not in bed. Don't let the price discourage you - and it IS pricey - but in my opinion worth every penny since it can be worn year round. I would definitely recommend having two on hand in case of accidents etc.We have the 0-2 and 2+ sleep sacks. They are fantastic. They might seem to thin to keep a baby warm but the merino wool lining does the job. I use them in the summer and winter and have the "Standard" weight. We keep our house 60+ degrees at night in the winter. So I didn't feel I needed the heavier weight. The cotton outer shell is very soft. So reviews have comments about the quality of the cotton but I haven't had any issues or feel it is sub-standard.The only thing I would add is follow the wash instructions. They can shrink very easily if dried. I usually air dry in the dryer to get most moisture out and then hang dry.I would recommend them to anyone. I have family from NZ and this is the staple that everyone has for their babies. They are so durable they are passed on many times.Good product overall. My wife and I love that they though to put in the opening for the car seat buckle. However, I took a star off because after about 5 months of steady use the stitching on the right shoulder is coming off. Normally not a big deal but when you pay more than $100 for something that competitors sell for $20 you expect above-average craftsmanship. Our baby really likes it though, so we would indeed consider purchasing a new one if the current one falls apart completely.practical, warm, naturalGreat quality although I find it too large for my 6 months old baby. He moves a lot while sleeping and his legs get caught in the excess fabric.Love this sleeping bag! Our little one sleeps soundly in it and it's great for travelling etcSleeps like a logBaby loves her new sleeping bag
