I was a little hesitant to pay this kind of money for a gym bag, but I like nice stuff and I wanted something that would hold up, had plenty of pockets and looked good as well. I was pleasantly surprised when I did finally receive my bag (shipping took a bit longer than expected, but we'll blame UPS for that). It is full grain leather, not the cheaper split leather like most products seem to be these days. Full grain is the highest quality and most durable leather available. The finish is gorgeous, the fittings, zippers, etc. are all very nice and operate well and the size is good for all the crap that I tend to shove into my gym bag. If I were forced to come up with a complaint, I'd ask for one extra compartment on the outside, properly sized to hold my cell phone with a velcro closure so that I could get to it quickly. But that's minor, since I usually can't hear the phone ring at the gym anyway!This would work fine as a weekend or overnight bag as well, especially if you want to impress your fellow travelers or the valet.I also like the fact that it's made in Colombia rather than China. Natch I'd prefer if it were made in America, but I guess South America is a good second choice. :)
