This was an EXCELLENT partition to keep foster cats out of certain areas while they were being introduced to the other animals in the family. The animals could see each other but not interact because of concern for problems. The double folding hinges were something I had not thought of when trying to find the right clear partition. Also, to keep dogs out of areas until trained to do stay on their side.At first, I thought the cost was high until I saw all of the elements that made it worth the cost!!!!Suggestion for other purchasers--Cats will scratch the plastic trying to climb up and over or just to get attention. I put some clear shelf liner on the side they would scratch which helped stop the marking--however, I was too late for some scratching to happen.
