Ive had this bag for several years now; bought it while in Afghanistan in 2008. Very light and definitely a space saver. Idk about 6x6, bit definitely a 6x8 or 10 even after placing all my weight on it to stuff it down. It can fit a little tight when you first pull it out, but it evens out as the stuffing balances out after you set it up. It does (mine does anyway) have some reinforcement material down in the bottom for those more "expeditionary " adventures, just incase you cant doff your boots. Great lightweight bag
