How to use a Magnetic Sign Holder This sign clip is a system that includes plastic bases or boots with molded in super ceramic magnets and optional clear plastic poster channel stiffeners up and down the sides to grip the printed signs (Item P8618 sold separately). Sometimes these sign clip bases are referred to as magnetic boot systems. The magnetic boots can be used to display signs with or without the poster channel stiffeners. It depends on how tall the sign is. For signs that are up to 8" tall and that are 1/8" to 1/4" thick you can display most signs with the magnetic boots only. Use the optional side poster channels or gripper channels for all thinner signs that are 1/16" to 1/8" thick and for signs 8" to 18" tall that are 1/8" to 1/4" thick. The side poster channel stiffeners are extruded clear vinyl plastic and can be ordered in 12" or 18" tall options. The poster channels have integrated grippers that grip the edge of the signs. This is a perfect sign holder for creating a retail gondola topper or header sign over end caps or down the grocery store aisle or wine shop aisle. It can also be used on standard refrigerated display cases or beverage coolers as a category sign.
