I wound up taking this bag on four trips out west this year from the east coast. I took different combinations of equipment in the bag including two pairs of adult skis, two pairs and the boot bag that's included or one adult pair and two kids pairs, 3 pairs total. The bag has held up well and been packed overweight multiple times. The boot bag fits nicely and will hold a small pair of men's boots or women's boots. If you don't do boots you can fit a couple helmets and snow pants and jackets in the bag in addition to the skis and poles. The zipper is pretty robust.I'd buy this bag again.
