Fatto a mano performance is a combination of two successful series and marries refined Craftsmanship (for the stem and the base) and the precision of a machine (for the bowl). The cabernet glass showcases the majestically structured Red wines in all their complexity and finesse. The reduced black in the STEM forms a deliberate contrast to the transparent bowl with a subtle optical effect. This light optic impact NOT only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also increases the inner surface area. Riedel Fatto a mano performance is produced in the factory in kufstein. The glasses in this series are made of crystal glass and are dishwasher-safe. The variations are: Black Stem and transparent base, or transparent stem and black base.

So husband and I got married during the pandemic. Eloped is probably the better term, bc we weren’t able to have a ceremony or reception like we’d envisioned — it was just the two of us. To make up for it, we decided to splurge on fancy glasses and a bottle of Dom.These glasses are simple and elegant. I like them. My husband does not — and I understand entirely. The stems are very long and feel a bit unstable in the hand. They also have a very delicate feel. Too breakable feeling for him (and me, if I’m being truthful). Since our wedding night they’ve been used just once, by me, when I made a fancy cocktail that used champagne. Otherwise they hide in the cabinet.
