The first coat has to be thinned by 50% with water and goes only less thick than the primer or metal effect paint. So unless your painting your floor and need it SUPER SEALED!!!!You only need 1 gallon of this for every 2-2.5 gallons of metal effect paint. SO 1Gal Sealent, 1.5 Gal Metal Effect, 2 Gal Primer, 1 Gal ACtivator( and youll still have a little left that you can get creative with) I used the extra to age some screws for "struts" i added for effect.
