I've bought this for a specific three day ride in Yorkshire, so that I can carry around a change of clothes, a field coffee kit and a few other items. For what it cost, it was good enough for the purpose, however, if you're planning a longer trip, I'd suggest looking into the Ortlaieb Seat Pack or the Epidura ones.Topeak is a versatile company, it produces many bike components, so I knew I could trust it for three days of bikepacking, however it has some design flaws.Starting with the pro's:It's light and it can easily fold if you don't need the full length of it. There are plenty holes for your back light to be clipped on, so no matter how much of it you'll be using, you can always move the backlight to a visible position. The Inside waterproof sleeve is slick in design and have a valve to compress the air out - this is a definite plus, which helps you keep the bag compressed. Also, the straps are designed to be adjustable fairy easily with a plastic "tic-tac" that its quick release will allow you to tighten them. A very good feature. The anchoring strap (to the seatpost) is good and sturdy, but as you'll see below not enough. The Cons:This consists of two sets of straps - the thinner ones that hold the bag and keep it smaller, and wider once that go under the saddle, keeping it in place. Both aren't very good. the thick ones are very thick and once you got them in, your would do anything in your power to refrain from taking them out, especially in the field, which means you will have to open and close the bag, while on the bike. I.e - there is no quick release of the bag from the saddle. The thinner straps are doing their job, but even when pulled tight the saddle bag still rocks left and right while your cycle. That's not ideal for something that is meant to be sturdy. So i'm guessing, if you go bikepacking and you don't mind having something swing behind you, it's not a bad bag to have. Question is, what can you actually pack in a 10L bag, that you actually must have with you. And if it's going to put some weight on you, you might as well find a better design that will hold 14-16 L.I bought this for the relatively cheaper price (not cheap by any standards) than its competitors. It did what I wanted it to do, but it wasn't amazing.Good luck!
