I got it for a solo, long, hike-included trip abroad, and I am satisfied.- Comfort: the fabric feels good on my body, has structure but is also soft.- Compact: with the right folding technique, I am able to pack this pretty compact, which was great for my trip abroad, and is still useful at home: can pack this carrier just-in-case when we go hiking. Overall, I can retire my actual metal-structure hiking backpack. Also, I can just roll and wrap it around my waist and under a backpack when not in use, this saves valuable backpack space on a hike. Also quick tip: I am not using the saddle-shaped part. That just makes it easier to pack.- Good for my back: overall my child does not like being carried (in any carrier), but this had been the most versatile way to have support when I do have to carry him. Toddler has learned to accept using the carrier when wanting a long hug-me-to-sleep session, which my body is grateful for.If I had it earlier, I would have started using it earlier (like around 2 years old) with my long/tall toddler. Especially in the phase when he wanted to be carried on the hip so much at home, and when he could'nt fall asleep but in my arms.
