This is the second set of aftermarket tail lights that I have bought for my 1997 Mercedes S420. I am a firm believer in keeping it original, but the original replacements are cost prohibitive for a daily driver and any used ones I might find are just as bad as my old ones. The first set were a different aftermarket brand. They didn't even come close to fitting. I could put my fingers in the gaps between the seals and the body. Had I left them in place, I would have had a trunk full of water. I was skeptical about buying these Anzo lights, but they actually fit and look so good I can honestly say they subtract an easy 10 years off of the aged appearance of the car. Although they are not the quality of the originals, they are not almost a grand for the set, either. If you are looking for tail lights that fit and look great without breaking the bank, get these.
