Description

Now riders can replace their OEM windshield with the size and color of their choice. Seven gradient translucent colors as well as clear and solar (a light tint with 72% visible light transmission). Made of Lucite for excellent optics and durability. Available for five models in up to four different heights - pick a size that's right for you. Perfect fit with OEM hardware. Holes are not drilled but rather machined to accept snap-in nylon inserts that prevent stress fractures and star cracks commonly seen around holes - an exclusive feature of Memphis Shades replacement plastic. Made in the U.S.A. NOTE: The windshield should have one of the two straps illustrated. Straps shown for reference only. NOTE: Measurements are approximate and measured center to center of holes on the outside of windshield.

I replaced a stock HD windshield. The Memphis Shades one is slightly thicker but that does not cause any problem installing it.I like the liners in the holes for the bolts. I have never had a windshield crack when installing the hardware but it's a nice feature. The shipping was fast and it arrived well packed.. Install was easy everything lined up perfectly. I installed the bolts hand tight and after they were all in place I tighten them from the center bolt out. A little Blue loc-tite and just snugged them down. Not need to crank them down. I selected the 19" for my Road King . The top edge of the windshield is at about the same height as my nose when I'm in riding position. Looked good until first ride, now it's a tad buggy. Better it them me.
