Crafted with genuine leather paneling to provide a true vintage look and with durable Dark Oak Wet Waxed Canvas. This saddlebag converts to a messenger bag with a removable padded shoulder strap. Its quick-release pin-locks make mounting and removing this bag so easy that it will soon become your favorite grab-and-go bag (brackets sold separately). The roll-top, buckle/snap closure, and road shield system keep the elements out while the speed buckles and zipper are concealed by Burly-embossed metal button snaps demonstrating Burly’s attention to detail and seamless blending of form with function.

CONVERTS TO A MESSENGER BAG The internal quick-release lock-pin system makes it easy to remove your bag and use it as a messenger bag with its convenient removable shoulder strap. Burly’s custom quick-release pin bracket kit (sold separately) allows you to take full advantage of this feature.

REINFORCED FRAME The durable metal and polyurethane framework maintain its sleek shape when empty or packed and the double-hinged buckle top flap provides easy access even while attached to your bike. Approximate exterior dimensions 11 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" tall x 5" deep.

Ruggedly designed. Poorly thought through. The lack of any stretch or additional reach in the clip fasteners mean you simply can’t overstuff this already tiny bag. Burley often seems to rely on snaps when velcro might be a better option. It will hold a loaf of Killer Dave’s bread, a half-gallon cartoon of milk and a candy bar or two. I use mine as a tail bag that I attach with a home-made mount I affixed to my small sissy bar. As saddle bags I believe they are too small to be practical. For that you’d need something five inches wider and at least three inches more in depth. There is a snap cover inside the lid that is both annoyingly in the way and nearly worthless apart from perhaps keeping out some dust on a dusty ride. You’ll need to buy waterproof interior bags or use ziplocks to keep any storage dry during a rain. There are better options out there.
