These series of pumps...( I use the 1/2 and 1HP ) versions for pond installations. I run these all year long, 24-7 hour.Only issue...They have VERY low start torque which means if it has been running for a period of time will have to free up the rotor by removing the pump housing from the motor. Then rotate the impeller to free up. Then replace the pump housing...and restart the motor.This is very common if stored for a long time between uses.A VERY GOOD pump otherwise..!
