The box came to AB from Ontario, and it was beat up like it was in a basketball game, the box looked like it was made out of other boxes and taped together...I WAS SO AMAZED that the dome was intact, in one piece and no scratches at all.I had ordered a 13 inch cat dome and that arrived today from China, it was 13.5 inches INSIDE diameter, and 6.5 inches deep, however, it was only wrapped in one layer of plastic and arrived with NUMEROUS scratches, no surprise, so that is going back to China, but it was the size I need and only one quarter the cost of this Owl, which is 11.5 inches inside diameter, and only 6 inches deep. I need to fit four PTZ cameras inside to view night skies, so if this doesnt fit, it is going back as well...The cat dome has a dibbit in top center where plastic was injected, this Owl has no such plastic injection dibbit, and I thought it would have a silver shine coating like in the picture, but it is clear, no silver mirror effect, and just same material as the cat dome.This Owl fits easily inside the cat bubble dome but is four times the cost. Wish this one was scratched and the other one perfect, then I would return this smaller one and buy four of the cat domes..UPDATE: I removed some mounting and used the OWL since it has no dibbit from injection molding like the one from china... I got another one sent from China, but it too was sent halfway around the world only in a clear thin plastic bag and it arrived scratched up worse than the first one.. amazing, would have been perfect but for the scratches...This OWL is not dark tinted as in pic, it seems clear with a tiny bit of sheen reflects light but looks clear IMHO, not dark like security camera domes, you can see the cameras inside clear as day.
