I was a little bit nervous because I have small nipples but this worked great and it’s easy to take the pieces apart and clean them. I really like it for on the go if I need to pump.So for reference I wear 24mm spectra flanges. I know with elastic nips you have to keep sizing down, I personally think it hurts doing that so I just deal with it and work with what I got and stick to the size that feels comfortable to me.That being said, this manual pump is amazing. I tried it out right away. I literally just got it 2hrs ago lol. And I love it! It emptied me out really well! My nips did get sucked down a little but that's okay because it goes right over the hole that goes down into the bottle. I don't have to lean over with this pump I can sit however I feel like. It doesn't squeak or make noises, very quiet. I was using the manual pump the hospital gave me, the Ameda Maya one and I wish I got this manual pump sooner! I'm generally an under supplier/just enougher and it takes me 40+min to get 2-4oz and I got 3oz in 20min with this manual pump so I'm so thankful my pump time can be cut down.I will say the silicone material is comfortable but definitely need to lube your girls up if you aren't used to the material it will tug at your skin a little or at least that's what it feels like what happened after pumping. But it's honestly not that bad I was just really excited and didn't use any lube before going in for it lol.Overall I absolutely recommend this pump!Really like this pump, It looks small, but suction power is better than my electric medela and spectra2 pumps. Got more milk in less time! Thinking about buy the second one, so do it both in one timeI bought this since I use avent bottles and figured it would be great to pump directly into his bottles. I will say that the silicone flange is incredibly comfortable. I enjoy using this pump, it works great, easy to clean, feels great. But it leaks all over me every single time. Somehow on the lip of the silicone flange milk gets worked into that little valley. I’m aware of this so when I go to remove it, I try to be mindful and then pour that milk down the flange to go into the bottle. But sometimes if I lose suction against the breast, it pours all over my bra and my pants, and it is so irritating, especially with how breast milk stains.I had to start pumping when my newborn's glucose dropped in the hospital and he was still figuring out breast feeding. After receiving a bottle, he refused to work that hard for food for the first few months. I have used 3 different electric pumps, plus the hospital grade one (while in the hospital), changes in flange sizes, mix-and-match pump set-ups. I've had so many issues with pumping and would have to double-pump for 40+ minutes to completely empty and was barely increasing my supply. I had tried every setting and combination of pump-setup imaginable. And oh my goodness I wish I had just had this pump!...With the little hand-held pump, I can control exactly the suction I need for how long I need it without having bright lights or obnoxious sounds from some pump while trying to change the settings and waking the baby up or having to go hide somewhere in the house because the pump is too loud. I empty within 15 min on each side. I have transitioned to breast feeding but still use this pump and always have it on hand. It is great for middle-of-the-night feeds when he passes out after one side.This pump is so quiet. I have no idea what other people are talking about with the crazy sounds. This pump is made of silicone and hard plastic. So I make sure everything is clean and completely dry when putting it together, and I've never had an issue. The cover for the pump makes it great for travel or quick storage, and the pieces are all extremely easy to clean compared to all other pumps I've used. I use it with Avent glass bottles, and the combo is fantastic.If you are about to have a baby, put this in your go-bag!!! I wish someone would have told me that!I have the Phillips double electric pump but needed a manual pump for those quick overnight engorgement pumps. This one is simple, has good suction and works well. It’s the second one I’ve purchased and well worth the cost. It fits well, is used friendly, quiet and easy to use on the go. Would highly recommend.The suction is not good enough I ended up giving up on it! Waste of money for sure!
