I bought this Sheer Voile Chiffon fabric fist to use as an overlay on top of my table cloths. I was going to embroidery on it. So I didn't have to embroidery directly on to the table cloths. That way I would have one fore every Holliday. In stead of a different embroidery table cloth. But after looking at it and feeling the silky texture. I am not exactly sure yet what I will do. I may just make sheer curtains to go under the curtains that I am making for my living room. It is beautiful fabric. An I am just tickled. It came in a clear plastic bag cover with 'New Star Fabric' stickers all on it. An it was shipped in a soft gray plastic bag. Advice before washing, please hem up the ends as it will unravel. It is not hard to do, but it is slippery to work with. I have not washed mine yet but I have already hemmed it up by hand. Which did take me a day but that is okay. Because the work will be worth it to protect such a beautiful fabric. Silky, see through and soft. The material reminds me of the overlay on my wedding dress that had embroidery applicate and beading on it. Will buy again. In fact I already did. Can't wait to see the other fabric that they have.
