I purchased this decanter from Amazon and the product was shipped across the Pacific with no problems at all. The decanter feels a bit on the light side and it may be a bit fragile in terms of handling it for washing out and so forth; however it is an impressive piece and looks really good with contents in it. The stopper is glass to glass contact with no plastic sleeving. Despite this fact there is no evidence of evaporation. Although I gave this decanter five stars one thing you must be wary of is tipping out that last 'measure' into a glass as the contents tend to flood out and can spill. With care and practice this can be eliminated. Great service by Amazon. Well done and an impressive product by LSA.
