Love the bag but the straps and the top rim got stringy after a little while and now I have to trim the strings frequently. The top rim and the sides of straps are covered in something that feels rubbery and it comes off after a few uses, hence the stringiness. I wish they would fix this because otherwise the bag has held up beautifully and I love the design.I received my totes as promised. It is large enough to keep my stuff and my iPad or Kindle. I also carry my knitting project. I never know when I can sneak in a few rows. The structure is stiff, but easy to carry.Great size and durability.I like it - getting used to the larger tote - not a designer but is real leather and enough pocketsHold alot of "stuff" and my laptop!! Love it!Great quality. Able to use with casual outfit or business. Lightweight easy to access items in bag. Not bulky or in the way when carriedI love the tote. I love the look, the comfort when carrying it under your arm against your body and the fact that it is pretty and classy enough for upscale and very dressy and yet something that you can use in a very relaxed setting with casual attire. The only negative is the toggle on the main zipper is to small. It falls into the tote and makes opening the zipper difficult in the beginning. The toggle just needs to be a little bigger to be able to get your fingers on it easier. I hope this helps anyone that is looking for a very nice quality bag. Rose MarieI’ve used this tote for a month now and I have to say that it’s growing on me. When it first arrived, I was disappointed that the top tapered in towards the zip which limited the internal capacity promised by the generous base width of 6 inches. I was looking for an all-in-one work tote that could replace my handbag, laptop bag and lunch bag. It’s just about adequate for a laptop, cable/charger pouch, toiletry bag and a tiny crossbody bag provided you don’t stuff the internal pockets. I’ve resorted to carrying my lunch and water bottle separately which in hindsight, is probably a better solution as packing everything into one bag would have made it weigh like a ton of bricks. The slim, tapered profile and light weight are a plus as it looks elegant on my petite frame. And the quality of the leather and the metal studs to protect the base are nice finishing touches. The one feature that Bostanten could have added is a hidden zippered compartment on the outside of the bag for easy access to keys and phone as it’s hard to zip up a fully loaded bag on your shoulder. Overall, great value for money.Really nice bag with very good quality leather. Not huge but just about good enough for my needs. It is very elegantI bought this for my wife but was not good as looked like in photos. So I returned this item.Just received the bag, love it.Good details, it stands by itself which is what I looked for.However, there is nowhere mentioning on the bag itself that it is leather. In fact there is no material content at all.There is a label with service info but no words "Genuine Leather" anywhere though it could have been easily added.If it is real leather why would you avoid stating so?Edges are finished nicely but again, I was told before that edges are finished to hide that the material is not leather.Besides, not sure how long this nice edges finish will stay put before disassembling from the edges.There is a hanging piece of material which is supposed to demonstrate it is leather, but again there is no stamped cowhide icon which usually is shown on such pieces. And knowing that cheap Chinese materials can so well pretend they are leather now I keep having my doubts.I love this bag. used it a few times - fully loaded - and it has held its shape beautifully. Because there is no designated laptop compartment in the bag, I use a laptop sleeve, sleeve or no sleeve, the behemoth of a work laptop I have fits in the bag completely, but the zipper to shut the bag is about an inch from the top (which looks so classy, don't get my wrong) and thus I needed a waterproof case for it since I cannot zip the bag shut.Personally, this has not and would not deter me from wearing this bag to work, especially since it goes with everything I wear, but is worth noting.Straps are great - they're thin but sturdy and long enough to wear with a proper (Canadian) coat.As someone that brings my life with me, I have to Tetris my thing a bit, but on the outside, you wouldn't know it.Originally tried to cancel this as it was supposed to have arrived after Christmas but it arrived early. Still don't know why it could not be canceled. It was packaged well but it did not feel like or smell like genuine leather. It's really plain and ok. Size is good but my daughter didn't like it either so returned it. Found a nicer one in the Mall even though it was vegan leather. This is definitely the oddest real leather bag I have seen so not pleased as it can't be defined. Packaged it very carefully with the tissue etc to send back. Maybe someone else can identify this better than I. Not sure if it is from China but had to pay extra for shipping that is not refunded.
