I have two ratings for this album. If I judge it relative to other Marshall Crenshaw albums, it gets four stars. Very good solid stuff, but not the first album I would go to if I had 45 minutes and was jonesing for MC1. I am loved his first two albums and think that some of his other albums have gotten a bum rap because they did not hit those heights. But compared to other music and albums out there, it deserves a 5. Not as catchy as his usual hooks, but more thoughtful and mature in content and substance. Rock On Marshall. He is truly a hidden treasure. People really need to wake up.
