As a boat carpenter I get to use this stuff every so often. I prefer it to anything else really because of it's workability and because of dry time. With the J3006 converter I can get three or four coats a day. After a day or two I sand 400 to 1200 grit and buff up to the finer grits for a stellar shine. Being a catalyzed varnish, it is a consistent hardness and pliable with wood movement for better lifespan. Others are great too, but everyone has a favorite and this is mine. Try the roll and tip method for even coat thickness and you will be impressed. Follow company directions closely, not to be confused with the typical Youtube expert. It can be quite hazardous
