This is great! We bought it for snowboarding and boots to use in the car when we go snowboarding! It’s perfect.I am not a snowboarder. I purchased the snowboard bag to store and transport my 4m wingspan radio controlled model sailplane. I bought it for its large size (the model does disassemble into sections and the fusleage barely makes it into the bag) and the fact that it has a handle on the end so I can hang it vertically on a hook. I have purchased others bags by another manufacture who discontinued the version I liked, but this one appears to be superior to my previous purchases. Time will tell if it stands up to the wear and tear of being shoved into a vehicle and opened and closed.Got this to travel to the airport and stuffed it like a can of sardines. Was worried the zipper was gonna pop open but it held just fine. Really good bag for 100 bucks.Overall very nice bag. I really like the design. The size runs slightly small. I got the 157 version and my 154 snowboard barely fits in. The padding seems a bit thin, compared to my old cheap $40 bag, the padding isn't that much thicker, which is a little disappointing. In order to be comfortable traveling with it on a plane, I had to stuff it with lots of gear. I don't really recommend it for flights, you might want to get the wheeled version for that. This is probably better suited for a road trip. Other than that, I really like it. There's a ton of space and you can pretty much fit everything in there for your snowboard trip and more. Comes with a shoulder strap which helps a lot when it's fully filled up. I get a lot of comments on how good the bag looks (which was my initial reason for buying it). The material seems pretty durable. I have a sleeve for my snowboard, so that the sharp edges doesn't contact the bag directly. So far no issues. I hope this will last me a few years until I upgrade to the wheeled version. Thanks for reading this long review.Great quality! Enough room to add clothing in it.I went with a padded bag after what a friend experienced with the non-padded bags. I bough the 165 cm for my 160 cm board and it fits perfect, not much room for a longer board. Zippers seem to be heavy duty enough. There should be enough room for all my outerwear. Would recommend for sure!I thought this was a great bag. I bought the 172 so I could fit my 164 or hopefully my 159 in it. Both boards fit great. Was able to pack boots, and two sets of gear no problem. Easy to zip when full. Like the “padding/insulation”, not too much not too little. Also the locking zipper was nice for air travel... didn’t even see that on the description??♂️. The contour on the shoulder strap was a nice addition as well. Overall quality that you’d expect from Da Kine. Wish I could get a different color but shipping is always a problem for us up here in AK, I’m just glad I could get a decent bag period without having to pay a ton to ship it here. This was actually a super great bag for the price. So far no issues. Feels great. Thick material, nice sized pocket. I ride a 155W so this gave enough room for my coat, boots, snow pants, gloves, helmet, hat, and tools. Literally my entire set up is in this bag.Great quality. Big enough for larger bindings.awsome bag, flew from uk to canada using just a non padded canvas bag, I decided to get this as I dont want to take a chance with air Canada policy. amazing quality, thick padded, lots of room. really happy.
