These babies took 10 years off the look of my 15 year old Expedition. The lights are bright and they look really cool. Installation was not easy for the first one because the instructions in the box are terrible. However, copy this address into your browser and you will find a PDF of the actual instructions: [...]Once I found this link, it only took me about 30 minutes to install the second light. Here are a couple of additional installation tips:1. When removing the shroud, it is easier to simply pop/break off the little plastic screws. The plastic on mine was so old and brittle it was the only thing I could do to get them out. When you open the box, don't miss the packet of wire splicers loose in the box; they are key to making the installation easy. I had to dig the box out of the dumpster because I threw it away with the splicers still inside. Peel back the housing on the parking light bulb 10-12 inches from the end (any shorter will make it hard to get the parking light to seat in the new light). Use the splicers to attach the power wires (red and blue) on the light to the brown wire in the parking light. Splice the black wires in the lights to the black wire in the parking light. I used 4 splicers per light and my lights only came with 4 splicers total. I had a few on hand so it was not a big deal. I made this hard on myself by trying to locate the transformer box behind the lights. This made the installation almost impossible. Once I realized the box fit perfectly below the lights and on top of the bumper inside the grill it was super easy.4. Don't match the retention/alignment nuts to the old light like the Youtube installers suggest. Instead, screw the little black retention/alignment nuts all the way out to the last thread. This will make it way easier to fit the light back into the hole through the retention clips. Once you have the retention clip firmly in place, use this tool: Lisle 14540 Headlight Adjusting Ratchet for Ford to easily adjust the alignment of the lights BEFORE you put the shroud back on. Also, make sure the retention/alignment nuts make an x when the light is held vertically rather than a + or the retention clip will not seat correctly.Good luck!
