This straw is the one for your tall smoothie plastic drink container or for even drinking out of the blender...LOL. Wide enough for the smoothies. Haven't found it in any other color & yes it does come individually wrapped. We usually order 4 boxes at a time. I'm glad Amazon carries them, as they didn't when we first ordered a box. If you need a shorter straw, just cut down (da), which is what I do, but Mr. Wonderful doesn't care.1/15/2014 Ordering for 2nd time on Amazon - a great straw...have also been cutting in half for our short drink containers. Perfect! Price a little less..
