I bought this case in order to have something that would ensure the protection of my S4. As soon as I got it, I unhooked all of the cables and slipped the S4 in. It fits perfectly, and the case comes with 4 pieces of padding which you can place in whatever position you wish. I only found room for two or three: One piece on the upper end to protect the Main Out, and other Channels, and another piece on the bottom end to protect the Cue Mix, Cue Volume, and Mic Volume knobs. You can place a 3rd piece on the left or right side to keep it especially snug in its place, but there's not really room for the 4th piece, so it's pretty much a handy spare in case you happen to lose a piece of the padding. All of the pieces of padding are held perfectly in place with velcro. After placing the S4 inside, I zipped up the case, and gave it a bit of a shake to see if I could feel it tumbling around inside, but it felt extremely secure. The two flaps that velcro together over the top make sure it's nice and snug once everything is closed up. No part of the inside of this case is thin fabric; nearly every inch is very well padded. It also comes with a second smaller bag, either intended for a laptop, or other equipment such as a Launchpad or Maschine. I have a 17" dv7 and I feel like it's pretty well protected. That case comes with three adjustable pieces of padding, and the case itself has padding sewn in, so you're getting good protection at all angles.Additionally, I have a 1 foot RCA to stereo female cable, a 6 foot RCA male to male cable, a 6 foot auxillary cable, the power adapter for my S4, the USB for my S4, and the power adapter for my laptop; all of which I was able to fit inside.Pros: Every bit of the inside of the case is padded. There's a generous amount of room to hold cables. The extra laptop case is a HUGE extra for me, because now I don't have to carry an extra backpack just for my laptop; I get it all in one.Cons: In all honesty, I can't find anything that I dislike. I can't speak for people that are using controllers smaller than the S4, but I can say that if you have an S4, you should be very satisfied if you go for this case.
