These bags are supposed to last for 2 years or so. Today mine ruptured today, which is just over a year since I began using this product.Pros: I love the weight and shape of this bag and soon began wishing I had the 150lbs version. I like the shape more than the “orb shaped” water bags as this is shaped more like a human torso. Hitting this bag is satisfying as it has snappy and sloshy characteristics, feels more like hitting firm meat.Cons: It only lasted 1 of 2 years it was listed for. Based on other reviews it seems to not last very long, and I was lucky to get a year out of mine. I think the leak finally came from a tiny crease left by my thumbnail from an early contact when throwing a left hook as the bag swung a little (Thumbless Fairtex Bag Gloves) as I stepped off line. Repeated punches probably caused too much stress on that scar which is where water is dribbling from now. Does that make it my fault? Maybe. I do keep my nails as short as possible for BJJ, so it’s not like I have wolverine claws or something. The only other cons I could list is that this bag will eat gloves. Destroyed several pairs of cheap sanabul, century, and title gloves to get to this point. Those were of varying oz weights and none were up to the quality of various Thai or Everlast gloves I have used in the past. My current bag gloves have been the first, used on this bag, not to rupture by the pinky of my left hand (orthodox) and spray chunks of crumbled foam when my punches land. I will be writing separate reviews for those products I have purchased through Amazon. Oh, if you plan to use this bag you will need to learn to wrap your hands in addition to gloves if you don’t already. Therefore this bag may not be for absolute beginners as it can be unforgiving or cause permanent damage to your wrists if you don’t know what you are doing. All in all, I do really like the bag. It brought me much satisfaction and joy over the past year and I really am sad to see it dying. I will do my best to find the larger version though it wasn’t offered on Amazon last I checked. Hope this review was helpful to someone.Edit: It looks like the bag is discontinued by Everlast, so sadly I won’t be able to get the 150lbs version. Maybe I’ll roll the dice on another one of these...
