I have purchased probably 6 gals of Modern Masters Supreme Clear Coat Matt finish over the years because it works well for indoor and outdoor projects. I saw several negative reviews for this product indicating it is too thick and leaves brush and roller marks. For those folks out there that don't paint much.... you always need to thin any paint to get right consistency and have it at a suitable temperature.For this product I pour as much as I need for a specific project into a clean container and then add 15% or so distilled water and mix well. If after the first coat you see brush and roller marks and it is not hot/cold out then add another 5% water. I have never had brush or roller marks when I have thinned it correctly. I also would not apply it when it is hot out or in direct sunlight because it dries so fast that it would leave brush marks because it cannot flow out (needs to run off your stir stick). I usually apply 3-4 thin coats.
